PLEASE BE AWARE - if you recieved a telephone call from a company called "Huddersfield Health Care" please let the Health Centre know as soon as possible.
We have received the following information:
"Please note we have received information from a practice about a phone call received by a patient from a company calling themselves ‘Huddersfield Health Care’. The caller seemed to know the patient’s name, DOB and that they had arthritis. The caller discussed with the patient about their medication then advised that another medication might be more appropriate (Litozeen 400mg). The patient was then asked to pay for the medication and for credit card details. We have checked the details provided and cannot find a record of this company. We have logged the details with the national NHS Counter Fraud team and it has also been raised with our Caldicott Guardian".
